In Anime

Name : Wolfram von Bielefeld (he must have taken the 1st prize of Germany's Hottest Boy contest in real life ^o^)

Age : 82

Height:  171cm

Weight:  52kg

Symbol: Wolfram has a kind of flower which is named after him : "Beautiful Wolfram" (found and named by his Mother XD)

Appearance : A 15-year-old eye-catching handsome boy (I guess, 82 divided by 5 or more as Conrad said...He couldn't be younger or older!) with jade green charming eyes, golden wavy hair which is usually compared with the sunshine. (Sorry if those words somehow sounds so flattering to you but I really couldn't help giving him the best extolments.) He has the blue soldier uniform

Actually he bears a strong resemblance to the Original King (Shinou) while Yuuri is a double black as the Great Sage ( Sometimes I wonder if Yuuram's proposal had been arranged yet a part in the Shinou's plot...)Okay, back to the main point. Like I said, the only noticeable difference between them is this:

   Wolfram von Bielefeld

@

      The Original King

Wolfram' s eyes are obviously not as "devil " as the Shinou's and yet, gazillion times cuter and warmer *huggle* Aww but still Shinou Heika was still so hot XDD *cough* Yet what would you think when you see this comparison:

(From left to right: Wolfram, his ancestor Rufus von Bielefeld, Shinou Heika/The Original King)

I had seen this pic before I had chance to watch season 2, and I did think Lord Rufus here was *cough* a lady! *__* and was a girlfriend of Shinou Heika or somewhat *get slapped* Before that whenever I heard "Rufus von Bielefeld " I said " Oh, it must be someone else, must be Wolfram's father, wonder how he's look like, blah blah blah..." And when I see Lord Rufus with my eyes, you know, nearly sent me toppling on the floor XD Recently there was a question arises on KKM Community debating why Wolfram looked so much alike to Shinou Heika but not his father or his paternal family. And finally we got the answer from the novel that Lord Rufus von Bielefeld was the cousin of Shinou Heika, and even the ancestor of Lady Cecilie had some relations with Shinou Heika as well, so now it's no longer quite mysterious, I mean their unbearable similarities XDD

Anyway, the three of them are all too beautiful to bear ^^ (I did get obsessed with Lord Rufus for a short while, and yay, fill me up with more inspirations XD) *still can't believe he's a real man O__o*

Nicknames :Wagamama-puu (Selfish Prince, Selfish Loafer or Selfish Pooh I don't know. Whatever they call him^__^), Little Lord Brat, Wolf-chan (by Yuuri's mother Jennifer) or Wolfie (by his mother Lady Cecilie),  Bishounen (means "Pretty boy")

@

Race - Homeland - Status: a full blooded demon prince from The Great Demon Tribe (Shin Makoku). He's the third son ("san ran " in Japanese) of the 26th Maou Cecilie von Spitzweg, currently the fiancé of the 27th Maou Yuuri Shibuya.

@

Power : Fire magic (His magic is second only to Yuuri's own in power) . He also has some kind of healing magic. (Wolfram used to have Julia-san as his tutor) and strong swordsmanship.

Story of life:  [Coming soon]

Likes : Yuuri >__<, to be on his own ways.( I think this list 'd be more complete if it also contain his family and...well...sweets! I found it out on my own in watching process, that Wolfram (maybe) likes sweets. Just have a look a these pictures:

See ? I have no idea whether I had some comrades who have a same thought or not, but the feeling that I could understand a bit more about Wolfram which wasn't mentioned in the anime nor the manga is just so great! I'm really really proud about it ^__^)

@

Hates : human (it's just the way he talked, don't you see that Wolfram's grown very fond of Greta his adopted human child and never even thinks once about her being a human, a race that he always said he hated so much? He even let her sit on his laps and told her the stories.  How cute!^__^ Then...just look at what he really does, not what he says)

@

Personality : spoiled, proud, arrogant, petulant, short-tempered but also loyal, brave, unafraid of defending those he cares about, quite compassionate at times and... seasick (as his major weakness) (Actually if there is any trouble he's bound to get in the middle of it to try to make peace - unless he feels it risks Yuuri or isn't worth his time) One more thing to say that beside the times that he spouts mean things and teases plus protects Yuuri, he has a kinda internal life, which can't be seen clearly in the anime since the anime tends to focus on events and adventures rather than focusing on the inner characters, unless you study him closely ; also according to the later information, it might be possible that Wolfram's past has affected him rather deeply, which leads to his type of personalities and thoughts in the meantime and made him actually become stronger. More information can be found here, in Wolfram manga/novel profile.

I admit it would be wonderful if he's a nice and elite person at the same time but it would make a pretty boring character don't you think? I wouldn't love him that much if he were that way. Actually I felt for him mainly because of his flaws, they're just so...unique ^__^

And, one personality, which might be really hard to recognize since it was showed clearly just once: sensitive. Guess only Wolfram's true fans could possibly notice this small but very important detail. It was something concern with a girl named Elizabeth:

"Elizabeth appears in episode 45. She claims to be Wolfram's fiancée, because Wolfram slapped her on the cheek when she was a child. Wolfram doesn't deny this.
She and Wolfram were childhood friends. Elizabeth came to Blood Pledge castle to see for herself the truth of Wolfram's engagement to Yuuri, and challenged Yuuri to a duel.
When Wolfram shielded Yuuri from Elizabeth's attack, Elizabeth attacked Wolfram and attempted to finish him with her flame magic. However, Yuuri blocked it and told them to go on a date. O_o Afterwards, she told Yuuri that she realized she wasn't fit for Wolfram's love because she tried to hurt Wolfram, and Wolfram told Yuuri she meant that she approved of Yuuri and Wolfram's engagement. XD
I guess the reason Wolfram didn't tell her that he didn't propose to her was because he didn't want to embarrass her because the ending scene showed that Wolfram apparently was trying to catch a butterfly and slapped her by mistake. What's most obvious is that Wolfram thinks of her as a friend, back then and even in the present. He probably has some romantic love, but I doubt it, because it was made clear that Wolfram loves Yuuri now *cried my heart out*. In Elizabeth's side, meanwhile, she wasn't shy to express her feelings, and it does seem that she really did love Wolfram (She's really alike me, really!). She obsessed over it though (which was "the wrong impression on her part") and ended up saying "If I can't have you, then it's over," and attempted to hurt him (possibly kill him?), except that Yuuri shielded her attack (in this point she's not alike me. If such thing happened to me I would ready to leave and pray the happiness for my beloved Wolfram if I'm convinced that the person he chose is exactly the one who could bring the long-lasted true happiness to him and could take care to him much better than I might be able to. Too bad Yuuri failed that mission in the anime => still can't like him :P But after all Yuuri 's still the one Wolfram had chosen, so we're supposed to respect his decision (though it's rather bitter to someone...TT___TT)  Let's hope that someday our beloved one would have the true happiness that he has always deserved...

Anyway, Elizabeth's actions were quite natural in the objective view. (It's just me who always have weird thoughts ^^) . I think she still loves Wolfram, even after what happened, and she loved him enough to let him go. " _ extracted from Flame Mazoku (words in yellow are mine :)

And one more thing. Don't know whether it was right or not but I think another noticeable personality of Wolfram is neat. Really! Have you ever seen him out of his room without had his undershirt well-zipped, his collar turned down formally and his "tie" well-knotted? We could all see that he must be the one who dressed most neatly in the Royal Family. He's the best yet most symbolic example for boys, isn't he? What a noble man ! ^_^

And since I ran out of words (though still wanna torture you more*scram quickly* ) then please let me extract some words (again) from nanami_chan27 (that's chiqui! ^^) that I sympathize fully with:

"Most of what Wolfram says isn't what he really means, actually. One can easily be fooled with his initial interaction with Conrad. In fact, I went, "what the hell is up with that guy?", but I saw eventually that he really doesn't hate Conrad at all, during one of his rare moments when he opens up and talks to Yuuri. He hides a lot of what he really thinks, deep inside, but whatever he lacks in words he does in action. Count the number of times he saved Yuuri from harm even if Yuuri had human blood and see if he doesn't care. See his reaction when he thought Conrad and Yuuri were dead and say he doesn't give crap about them. Wolfram acts like he thinks Yuuri is worthless; that is just an act. He has a lot of acts but his actions say otherwise. I believe the audience can really see who Wolfram really is through his actions, and I think it's better to watch him do things instead of say things that show his appreciation and love for the people around him, because words are words, after all, and acting that love is better than simply saying it. For me, love is just a theory until you put it to action, and I'm not just talking about romantic love here.

Wolfram can easily fool people with his façade, but a façade is just that, after all. It's just a mask. I think his character is given depth because of this. Everyone has flaws, and Wolfram is no different. But it is these flaws themselves that gives him his uniqueness, and I do think he is a pretty unique personality in the world of Kyou Kara Maou. Without him, the series would still be engaging, but there would be always something missing, and his presence is the only thing that fills that gap. :) "

... and that's the shortest form of everything from my heart I mean to share with you, also the conclusion for this topic. Phew, it's finally end... ^^

Relationships:

Lady Cecilie as Mother

This is rather unusual mother and son (yes, despite their rare similar unbearable beauty XD) Though Lady Cecilie have shifted the responsibility in taking care of Wolfram since the day he was born to his elder brother Conrad, she, as many other mothers, was always watching him from afar (probably she wanted her most beloved son to grow up into a strong and independent man, thus it also shows that she really trusts her second son Conrad) Cecilie had a very particular way to show her love when Wolfram was a little baby: she let him sit in her laps in front of a line of men and let him decide whoever he wanted to play with would become his next father XDD One of her special hobbies is watching Wolfram pissing off when she glomps men (including Yuuri) and pairs Yuuri with other ladies for fun.

Greta as Adopted Daughter

After this little human girl became adopted daughter of Yuuri, Wolfram has been growing more and more compassionate, or I should say his compassion has been revealing day after day. His hatred for human, the race that he had despised so much, decreases little by little and now he could let the little human girl sit on his laps and read stories for her as if a true daddy. And Wolfram even once risked his life rushing into the sea of fire without any hesitation to rescue a human boy though at that time he couldn't use any magic because of being in human's territory. Greta has really made a considerable contribution to softening her foster-father's personality XDD

Gwendal as Big Big Brother

This is the only one, together with Lady Cecilie, that seems to be high-respected by Wolfram : Big Big Brother Gwendal. Wolfram usually shows his proud about Gwendal's talents, especially in politics and always tries to hold up to his standard. Though Gwendal doesn't show his care for Wolfram quite clearly and often ( probably both of them always bear in their minds that they've all grown, but I doubt that XDD) but he's usually the one yet the only who could calm Wolfram's hasty risky hot-tempered personality and make his little brother reconsider the matters from every angle in a wiser way (though when it comes to something like rescuing Yuuri, Wolfram wouldn't listen to him at all ^^;;)

Conrad as Little Big Brother

The one who used to had the strongest attachment with Wolfram. Conrad have been taking care of his little brother since the day he was born and also the one who have been Wolfram's excellent teacher in swordsmanship and many thing else. And though that attachment seemed to be over long time ago from the day Wolfram found out that Conrad is half human and has kept on affirming  that he despises his Little Big Brother, but in truth he would just upset to find that being a half humans means Conrad would probably die a lot sooner than him and the rest Mazoku. Actually, their strong brother bonding still lasts long till this day: they still take pride in and care for each other at times,  it's just rather secretly since Wolfram has been being such stubborn and high-pride boy XD though he couldn't hide well his blushed face darkens with color whenever Conrad smiles at him and says: "It's too good that you're still all right, Wolfram." XD

Yuuri as Fiance

Well, maybe it's no need to focus into this pairing anymore since there're bunches of hints throughout the series about their relationship. Wolfram takes great care of his fiancé  and always eager to become his shield when danger comes. However it was not until the mid of season 2 that Yuuri seems to show some care for Wolfram and the first time is when Wolfram was kidnapped, Yuuri was rushing after his fiancé (for the very first time...?) and then got himself kidnapped as well (!)

Gunter as ...???

We don't see much bonding between Wolfram and this shiny-looking adviser of Shin Makoku through the series either but it's possibly that Gunter used to be one of Wolfram's tutor teaching academic subjects. In fact, Gunter does care for Wolfram, now and then, and the clearest hint appeared in the movie: Wolfram was kidnapped by an evil group of possessed dolls and ever since he managed to come back, Gunter kept on holding his arm tightly like this:

XDD You know, I did think that Gunter just did it for some kind of his usual whacky reasons like "keep troubled Wolfram away from His Royal Majesty for awhile" but then I was totally amazed by his answer when Wolfram asked "What's with the arm?" :

"Nothing. I'm just worried you might get captured by some bad adults again." It's obviously that Gunter still considers Wolfram as a little fragile baby still need to be protected XDDD

Gisela as...comrade???

Here, I got wipes_nose 's post about Wolfram-Gisela dynamic in this pairing discussion on Wolfram Community. Really interesting, and I asked her to display her opinions here. Thanks, sis wipes_nose ^^

"I think Wolframfs relationship with Gisela and Elizabeth is really interesting but I havenft explored it a lot, truthfully. I mean, in terms of the anime, I donft think wefve seen a lot of interactions between Wolfram with either Gisela and/or Elizabeth. Especially for Elizabeth, if my memory serves me right, I think she only had a 1 episode appearance.

So from what we do know about these two characters in their interactions with Wolfram, it is a bit limited and not really shown. But I like both Gisela and Elizabeth for different reasons.

For Gisela, it was during the Betrayal Arc of the anime (mid/late 20s episodes – etc.), that she really caught my attention and made me think about how much she understood Wolfram. I was really impressed with her because when Wolfram was distraught and wanted to search for Yuuri, Gisela was there for him, providing exactly the kind of support that he needed but wouldnft actually ask help for. And during their journey to where Yuuri was, her understanding and her worry for Wolframfs state of mind, was really awesome.

Overall, I felt that Gisela cares a lot for Wolfram and holds a lot of respect for him. Another thing about Gisela is that I donft think she is afraid to speak her mind to Wolfram or to any of the other kkm characters (just like how Anissina and the female kkm cast are very strong in their personalities and can give the men ea run for their moneyf XD).

As for Wolframfs opinion about Gisela, Ifm not too sure. Because at times, I think Wolfram can be very singular in his thoughts and I donft know how he would think of others beyond his family and Yuuri. But I do think Wolfram sees Gisela as someone as having a strong personality and someone who is dependable and caring. I also think he respects her also.

Ifm not quite sure how I view Gisela and Wolfram together though (I mean I do know what I think of them individually but as for their interactions together, Ifm not quite sure how to describe it); do I see it as a teacher/student, leader/leader respect type, best friends, etc. or maybe it can be a romantic interest, depending on the point of view and etc. . . . And now that Ifm actually typing out my thoughts about Wolfram and Giselafs dynamics, I feel stumped because there are a lot more questions than answers that I have for them >___> "
