In Manga and Novel
On the site making progress I intended to make the profile for both Wolfram in anime and manga-novel but then the one for Wolf-manga had to be postponed without deadline since at that time all I had was only the manga up to chapter 6 *sob*, not mention I hardly got any information and pics about him back then.
However nowadays, thank goodness I’ve been able to reach the newest chapters of KKM manga (though they’re in Chinese TT___TT) and read some parts of KKM translated novel thanks to the help from Wolfram Community (I love you guys !) so I have more things to show you now ^^
Since the differences between two Wolfram-anime and novel- are getting more and more evident so I think it's time to make a different profile for Wolfram-novel. Please wait for next time till I collect enough info and opinions about the novel character.
About the Wolfram manga, for now there would only be pics and pics since this Wolfram’s character is basically still alike the one in anime - must say the manga is progressing rather slow, it’d be no surprise if “points” of the manga boy haven’t been showed clearly yet - so there’s nothing more necessary to talk about “personality”. I guess you’ve had enough all of my obsessed blabbing about him in the previous profile ^^;;)
Talking about Wolfram in manga/novel, the only thing I could say for now is that he's more mature, colder, yet likely more active in love (He put it into some kind of...action in a chapter, which shocked me O__o) He doesn't always proclaim his love to Yuuri in the public, at least not as much as the Wolfram we knew in the anime and plus some more small details in the story, thus we could have the feeling that Yuuri should be the one who depends on him, not vice versa. This Wolfram is far more different than the cute one in the anime, but if we study him closely, we could still find that both hold a lot of feelings inside and have a kinda internal life. which can't be seen clearly in the anime since the anime tends to focus on events and adventures rather than focusing on the inner characters, unless you study him closely ; also according to the later information, it might be possible that Wolfram's past has affected him rather deeply, which leads to his type of personalities and thoughts in the meantime and made him actually become stronger. What we know so far about Wolfram and his father/father’s side, based upon the
kkm cd dramas, magazines, etc:
- Wolfram’s father was younger than Cecilie and was “emotional” and “cute”
- Wolfram’s father was the eldest in the family
- Wolfram’s father is dead
- Wolfram’s uncle (the younger brother) is the ruler of the Bielefeld lands
- Wolfram’s father’s side dislikes humans and half-humans and thinks someone who
is pure blooded should rule Shin Makoku
- Wolfram’s understanding of the humans and his feelings towards them was most
likely influenced by his father’s side; since Wolfram did/does spend time at his
father’s side estates with his relatives
- Wolfram’s uncle gave him the eagle brooch that Wolfram later gives/pins on
Yuuri’s shirt (found in the manga/novel)
The novels
don't say much about Wolfram's background, just that his father wasn't
interested on him at all when he was born (apparently, he didn't even visit the
nursery). But nothing else is said about him
With the little that we do know, I find a lot of things intriguing. Such as ‘why
wasn’t Wolfram’s father interested in him?’ and ‘why is his uncle ruler of the
Bielefeld lands?’ and ‘how did Wolfram’s father and Cheri meet?’ and etc. . .
